Hours of Operation:

Sovolco will be open every day from Saturday to Thursday at 24 hours of operations of crushing and refinery, filling line and packing and transportation to our distributors. On Friday Sovolco will use for factory maintenance and will be closed to allow its staff time to rest. This arrangement is very convenient to Sovolco Sole Distributors. 

Promotion:

Somaliland Vegetable Oil Company will use various ways of promoting its company so as to gain more customers and increase general awareness of the products Sovolco produces.

Fliers & Brochures:

Sovolco will use colorful, informative fliers to increase awareness of its sunflower oil products in major cities. These fliers will be distributed to retail stores, restaurants, supermarkets, and households. Sovolco hopes to get potential customers from the distribution of fliers.

Market Analysis

There is huge demand for sunflower oil products in the country due to the low quality of refined sunflowers oils imported and lack of refined sunflower oil in the country.

Competitive Advantage:

There are no major sunflower oil producers in the country. Competitors relating to Sunflower Oil imports are mainly from foreign countries who brings diluted Sunflower oil (mixed with other oils) into the market.  This Oil is often low quality.

Sunflower imports from foreign countries are estimated at between 150,000 cartons and 200,000 cartons per month.
